Hydrating Coconut Lime Electrolyte Water
Imagine the crisp, tropical essence of young coconut water infused with a splash of zesty lime—that’s coconut lime electrolyte water in a nutshell. Lightly sweet with a citrusy kick, this naturally hydrating drink delivers a clean, invigorating taste while replenishing your body with essential electrolytes like potassium, sodium, and magnesium.
It’s the perfect post-workout refresher, hangover helper, or beach-day essential—hydration that tastes as good as it feels.
Right after I had my third daughter, my entire body was feeling drained to say the least. It was in the middle of summer and no matter how much water I drank I just felt dehydrated.
I discovered this coconut lime electrolyte water that ended up becoming an evening treat for me because not only did I enjoy it but it was so good for my hydration, especially in those first few months of breastfeeding.
If you want to replace a gatorade or electrolyte drink with something low in sugar, natural, and delicious – this is the drink for you. This is also perfect in the summertime when you are outside and sweating a lot.
There are three components to the coconut lime electrolyte water:
- Coconut water: coconut water has several health benefits including hydration and digestive support. It’s a natural source of electrolytes like calcium, potassium, and magnesium.
- Lime juice: lime juice is high in vitamin c and is a natural antioxidant that supports your immune system and collagen production!
- Sea salt: sea salt helps maintain the body’s fluid balance, and is a natural source of sodium which is so important for hydration!
I like to use good quality sea salt in this drink, and I enjoy it over ice. Make sure to find coconut water that is pure and has no added sugars or flavors.
This coconut lime electrolyte water is SUCH an easy and good summer drink. So many evenings I replaced having a glass of wine and opted for this delicious and refreshing drink!
